The Five Years Integrated Law Course
BACHELOR OF LEGAL SCIENCE (B. L. S) / BACHELOR OF LAWS (LL.B)

ELIGIBILITY:

A candidate passing the Bachelor’s Degree Examination of the Mumbai University, in any faculty with minimum 45% marks or corresponding degree examination of any other University recognized as equivalent there to by the Mumbai University with the minimum prescribed marks is eligible for admission to the First Year LL. B. The above percentage of marks shall be relaxed by 5 % for candidates belonging to the reserved Categories.

An applicant who has graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a University established by an Act of Parliament or by a State legislature or an equivalent national institution recognized as a Deemed to be University or foreign University recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an authority competent to declare equivalence, may apply for a three years degree program in law leading to conferment of LL.B. degree on successful completion of the regular program conducted by University of Mumbai whose degree in law is recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrolment. MINORITY STUDENTS:

Students seeking admission under the Gujarati Linguistic Minority category should have passed the S.S.C. & H.S.C. examination from the Maharashtra Board and should be domiciled in the state of the Maharashtra.(As per Government G.R. dated 11 June, 2007),A student from any another University seeking admission to any of the courses will be considered for provisional admission at his/her own risk only on production of a “Provisional Certificate of Eligibility” from the University of Mumbai on payment of requisite fees. Moreover, the student must submit to the Registrar of the University of Mumbai, through the college, the necessary certificates before the end of the term; otherwise, the admission will be treated as invalid. For further details in this behalf reference should be made to the Registrar, University of Mumbai.





ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission Forms would be available at the College Office on payment of Rs.200/- The said form should be returned to the College office, duly filled in, along with original mark list of the qualifying examination, caste certificate , Minority Certificate or Affidavit , it's attested 2 sets of Xerox copies and 2 recent passport size.


Attested photocopy of Marriage Certificate in case of Married Candidate (if applicable) has to be submitted.


Candidates, whose names appear in the Merit List, will have to appear before the Principal for a personal interview. Immediately, after the interview, the candidate, if admitted, will have to pay the prescribed fees by Demand Draft in favour of “M.K.E.S College of Law”.


Students graduated from University of Mumbai have to fill the “University Enrolment Form”.


Students graduated from other Universities have to fill the “Eligibility Enrolment Form”.


Note:

If it is subsequently found that any of the statements made by the candidate in the admission form are incorrect the admission may be cancelled and there will be no refund of fees.


Important:

All admissions are subject to the approval by the University of Mumbai. The right of admission is reserved by the Principal and the Management.



IDENTITY CARD:

1. All students of the College shall take from the office at the time of admission one blank form for identity card. It is to be returned to the office with the admission with all the personal data filled in and their recent passport size photograph affixed at the proper place.

2. Students shall keep their identity cards with them while they are in the College premises, and shall produce it whenever required by any member of the College staff. Every student must show his identity card to the security personnel at the gate, failing which he may not be allowed to enter the college premises.

In case of loss of identity card, student should inform about the loss to the College Office. A duplicate identity card may be issued with the special permission of the Principal and on payment of Rs. 50/-.
